At the end of 2016, Asylum Designs and Squirrel BASE Equipment merged into a collaborative effort. Marty is Manager of BASE Equipment production and BASE Education at Squirrel and Asylum. He oversees the design and production of all load-bearing equipment and BASE accessories. Marty’s career in BASE manufacturing, rigging and instruction spans three decades, and he is the founder of Asylum Designs and a FAA Master Parachute Rigger. He brings deep experience and a more traditional outlook on equipment design and construction to the Squirrel team.
